Week 5 Reflections: Gratitude for the Level 3 Day Surgical Procedures Ward Nurses

During Week 5, I faced significant challenges, particularly with eating and experiencing considerable pain whenever I tried to swallow. This period was especially difficult for me, making each day feel like a struggle.

I found immense support and care from the nurses on the Level 3 Day Surgical Procedures Ward.

Their dedication went far beyond administering my additional IV treatments; they offered genuine compassion and concern, providing the comfort and reassurance I needed during a challenging week.



Thanks to their kindness and expertise, I also left with some new strategies to help me manage my situation. The nurses on this ward are truly amazing people, and I am deeply grateful for their unwavering support and the exceptional care they provided me.
